The Coronavirus has changed our workspaces
To reclaim those space it needs to be removed from the air itself
Germfree is an internationally known company for Bio Containment
They invited us to add design details to their air purifying appliance to make it suitable for any environment
(So it doesn't look like a clunky AC unit)
This was the base model we had to work with
It had vents down low for intake and a tall intake stack to circulate the whole room
Round 1 Designs
The first round of design gave good direction but the vent stack was changing
So after some sketches (and ugly ones we didn't show you)
Round 2 Design Direction
We redesigned the stack to be something that can fit most environments in a
clean form and leveraged an easy cleanable metal wrapped skin
It gave us opportunities to suggest new button controls
and assist in the color and branding phase.
