Slowly: Slow Mail

 
Social media and mobile phones are gradually replacing our main form of communication in the fast-paced lifestyle. These forms of communication has reduced our face-to-face interaction in real life and do not allow for depth and emotional nuance. On the other hand, writing is a form of documentation and people mail to communicate. The act requires higher attention rate and greater salience. It helps to hone our communication skills and most importantly introduces moments of contemplation and pauses amidst our busy schedules. The content in slow mail and its purpose is drastically different from email or instant messaging. 

Slow mail can be use to pen down memories, appreciation or even jokes dedicated to friends for memory keepsake. Slow is patient and rational. It embodies participation and engagement and allows room for the joy of anticipation. Through the service, postcards can be sent to friends within the faculty. Its intention is refresh the advantages of letter writing and most importantly slow communication.
