Paola Hivelin started expressing her urge to create in 2005 through the production of a work in direct contact with the depths of the unconscious, personal and collective. Their singular light tints her paintings and sculptures with a strange aspect/dimension that might feel like a dream or a nightmare, organic and archetypal, mystical, almost voodoo. This vertiginous mise en abyme progresses on the edge of both psychoanalysis and magic and encourages the spectator to a scary introspection that leads to a universal awareness. Paola Hivelin is the founder of Gang Of Witches with Sophie Rokh.

My role was to accompany the artist in the graphic design of a new website, the photographic direction, shooting of the collections, as well as the conception of a documentary video on his work.
