Each of these small works Titled "Bruges 1-4" are small 4 x 6 inch works on heavy paper completed in 2021. The forms and compositions refer to a trip I took to Bruges, Holland in 2002 . The heavy, earthy and dark Romanesque architecture of the town worked its way into my artistic DNA.
