The first thing I can tell you about this project is whether it was brainstorming, sewing each piece of laser-cut plex to the garment...or, you name it; I enjoyed every bit of putting this proposal together! 

This look is inspired in the futuristic literary piece by Aldous Huxley: ¨Brave New World¨. This novel takes place in a dystopian society where people were broken morally to the extent that they did not know what was right or wrong.

My direct inspiration was the quote: ¨We are all connected...¨, which yes makes me think we are all connected, yet flawed. 

With that being said, I find a mirror to be the most vulnerable of places, because you see the reflection of yourself, as well as the reflection of your own brokenness. My great desire is that this piece of work may speak to each person, every time they see themselves in it!
