Victoria, Stellar Mermaid
First Apostle of the Priestess of Heat

"What a mess.  All these stars and I have to place them all?  Audrey is not responsible and my mistress.... less so.  Let us see.  You here.  You there.  And you here.  And You?  Well aren't you lovely.  Why are so so lonely?  Here alone?  You should have a friend; how about you?  Not too close, not too far, but just enough.  There, now if some other small friends develop around you, they'll be happy too."

Time: 8 Months (JANUARY WHAT)
Tools: Bristol Paper, G2 Pilot Gel Pens (.38 .7, 1.0 mm), Xeno Slim Ball Point Pens, Staedtler Fine Liners, Master's Touch Neon Gel Pens, and one stupid human that wouldnt give up.
Dimensions: 24 by 18 inches.

Started January 2021 as an ambitious project to make a mermaid.  The idea of out space as the ultimate ocean.  In the priestess series I have, they need agents to handle the minute details of their jobs.  So who organizes where the stars go to make constellations and make sure planets form safely to give life?  Well, the Stellar Mermaid does.

I name all my pieces after women I am fond of and this one is no exception.  A very nice young lady that gave me 2 colors: seafoam green and coral.  I looked into fix and scales, the head has coral-like appendages and a psuedo nun habit.  I wanted a slight oceanic feel with the dress.  Hexagons are a nightmare for scales, especially as they began to wrap backwards in space behind her.  That was annoying.

For Victoria.
