AN AUGMENTED EXPERIENCE

The article that I made use of in Popular mechanics is boring and doesn’t really express how interesting and beautiful the mural is and how it actually enhances the environment at Sea point in Cape town.

This article speaks about how the artist known as Tonton, had to get permission from the town council to create this piece to enhance sea point, so that it could help inspire and grab people's attention when they walked by, he wanted people to be inspired and interactive with the piece, by taking a minute to look at this colorful wall Mural.

This article doesn't really express how fun this Mural actually is and how it is far more than just some street art. The article quickly and briefly speaks about how this mural can be seen using AugmentedCities.com to view it, but the article doesn’t give people a link to view the original augmented reality version. A link is never provided for people to view the augmentation, thus leaving people to never know that there is a lot more to the article that they can interact with than just looking at it.

And that's was a key problem I needed to keep in mind, this mural needs to gain more attention from audiences, to actually force them in wanting to get involved weather they see the mural in person or if they want to simply view it from the comfort of their own home, through the use of their smartphone’s or tablets etc.

Here is a mock-up showing you how the Qr code looks like on the article from your tablet. The mock-up to the far right is just a decorated version that audiences can use to forwards to other people to test out the augmentation.
