Mini catalogue and bookmark design and layout (2021) - Painting exhibition "Krāsu prieks. Satikšanās" by Marie Lein

For this project I had to make a mini catalogue showcasing all the paintings in the exhibition and two bookmarks, representing the paintings, which were used for book covers (both of the books can be seen in my portfolio). Here is the outcome:

With the client, we agreed upon a simple, sleek design in A6 size, so the paintings could stand-out, but the catalogue would not be bulky and big - easy to take in the pocket or bag to home. Both of the works, had to have a simple set of text, telling about the art pieces underneath or on the other side of the paintings.
