Project 1
The first project of the class was to test out what we can learn about P5.JS and what we can accomplish with our findings. My project made a square that follows your cursor and changes color and size as you move it across the screen. Each direction that you move the mouse will trigger color changes based on the location of the cursor on the screen, while the size change is a continueless size change that increases and decreases once it reaches a certain max/min size.
Project 2
The second project for this class was similar to the first one but the goal of it was to use some more complex math. I used var x = mouseX + orbitRadius * cos(angle); to create multiple sets of rotating circles, and then I set them to rotate around the mouse again, and to change colors when moved across the screen.
Project 3
This project was focused on making a tribute page to anything that you wanted to. I personally really enjoy Mythbusters so I made a web site with all sorts of fun features that fit the shows personality. The first feature was the rotating title, with a time delay when it is in the correct position (so that someone can read it). Another is an explosion that follows you around the page. A bit before halfway on the page, there is a button that says "Click Me!" which shows you a random image on the bottom left corner of the screen (all of them relating to something from the show). And the last features are the embedded video clips at the bottom of the page that either show a preview of their TV show, their opening title or some of their most interesting clips.
