Matteo Carcassi - Classical Guitar Performance

I believe classical music provides a comprehensive and engaging foundation with which to understand and more importantly, to create music. Being a well rounded and complete genre in itself, I also find that it is perfectly suited to structuraly build on and internalise the elements of music; be it rhythms, melodies, harmonies, scales, progressions or voicings.

Here is a series of videos of my performance of Matteo Carcassi’s 25 etudes for the guitar - a set that is designed to develop the necessary skillset on the guitar as well as an understanding of the basic mechanics of music.
