Spectral Compositions
Light is the main structural unit of photography, the subjective characteristic of which can be color. The artist creates his works thanks to the different shades of color. But in order to give a more detailed description of light, we need to look at light as a physical phenomenon. In the physical plane, light is an electromagnetic wave; when light waves of different lengths are mixed, white light can appear, as well as light of almost any shade. A mixture of blue and green gives cyan, red and blue - magenta, green and red - yellow. Additive summation is mathematically described using the RGB system.
The resulting compositions are the result of an experiment due to the need to create a technical solution capable of determining the spectral component of light. The device was based on the principle of operation of the spectrometer, with the help of a system of diffraction gratings, the light was divided into a spectrum. Next, a macro shot of the outgoing light was taken, it was assumed that by analyzing the digital image data, it is possible to determine the spectrum of the photographed light. Nevertheless, due to the unfavorable conditions of the experiment, as well as for a number of functional reasons, it cannot be called successful.
