Elisus is a dark dream sequence about broken worlds, fading memories and lost empires.
Elisus is the Latin word for shattered or breaking apart, which felt like a fitting title for the short. It doesn't tell you anything up front but still quite literally describes the subject of the short. Get a look into this dark dreamworld where you see slow moving cinematic vignettes of worlds on the brink of extinction.

Elisus has been a long ride, I have been working on and off in this project for the past 2 years in my free time. Its my first real solo project since I started working as an animator 3 years ago, I'm so happy to have finished it. I feel like I really created my own little red universe, which was super fun and challenging. In the ends its only 30 seconds of animation but I hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it.
