Birth and Body Book Club
Project Brief
I was commissioned to create a cover page illustration for a birth and body book club on Facebook, run by Kaveri Mayra, a nursing and midwifery PhD Student.
Project Goals
The idea was to include the different variety of individuals who could benefit from these books and make it seem as warm and inviting as possible. The illustration depicts a home birth at the top left corner, two pregnant woman reading together, a teenager pointing to the sign, a father reading while holding his son, a young woman near her bookshelf reading, a young boy studying at his desk and a pregnant woman lying down on her bed while reading to prepare herself for birth.
