Baskin Robbins 2.0

BASKIN ROBBINS, MY WAY
Baskin Robbins is the world's largest chain of ice cream specialty shops. It was founded by two ice cream enthusiasts Burt Baskin and Irv Robbin in 1945. In my approach to rebrand this world-famous brand I took a more minimal modern route.
Colors & Fonts:
My rebranding color palette was all about pastel-izing the original BR colors. This gave the packaging the modern premium look, and the fonts further added a quirky look.

Logo
The original logo was based on 31 flavours of Baskin Robbins, a unique flavour for all days of the month. While rebranding I dropped that concept due to the lack of relevance as the brand offers more than 1,000 flavours today.

I, instead, went with the amalgamation of the first alphabet, B & the melting effect of an ice-cream. The new logo displays fun & cheerful personality of this brand while triggering a tempting emotion through the melting element.

Packaging:
I kept the packaging very minimal, just the way I like it. I also gave the flavours a little twist. Chocolate became chocolit, matcha become matcha-cha.

This was my little attempt at redesigning a brand that has been loved for decades. If it did make you salivate a little, I think I did a decent job?
