WWF Poster Campaign & Competition

WWF Project

WWF is the world's leading independent conversation organisation. Their mission is to create a world where people and wildlife can thrive together. Whilst completing my studies in graphic design, the company contacted my University to ask as part of our project to complete a campaign and poster design which is new and exciting for their brand which headquarters are in Woking. The campaign/ poster design they wanted within their brief was kept simple and all about helping the environment which is what their main mission is as a brand.

This project links to the another project on my bechance portfolio called Manifesto. Not many people cook which is why I thought that it would be good to make a campaign about how we as consumers could help. This is by reducing waste by not buying herbs which are pre-packed from the supermarket and start buying seeds in a packet which will lead to grow our own herbs at home. It's much more of an effective way.

As part of their campaign, they had to pick the top three to go through so they can launch this new campaign to the brand experts and to use within their headquarters office in Woking. I was very fortunate enough to come Fourth in this mini competition.

The two posters above show a black and white version. I wanted to stick to their brand colours which are black and white and didn't want to move away from the brand guidelines alongside using the same typeface. The Concept behind the posters are connected to the different seasons which are around and I completed a lot of research to show which herbs grow better in each seasons. The illustrations which I created on my procreate, demonstrate the different herbs which can be grown.
