PROJECT BRIEF

The brief for this project was a refresh/rebrand of the website, with the existing Messengers of Spirit logo remaining the same.

Messengers of Spirit is an Online Spiritual Academy dedicated to the mentorship, transformation and empowerment of Healers, Intutives and Empaths. It provides courses and training programs with these goals in mind.

The perfect academy members are Psychics, Intuitives, Healers and Empaths. Because these people are so tapped in to their intuition, the vibe and energy of the website is a really important factor to accurately capture.

Many of the soul mate clients for the academy tend to be women so we chose fonts, colours and shapes which would more easily resonate and be associated with feminine energy.

SHAPES & SYMBOLS

The hexagon shape which you'll see woven into the page banner represents the three core values and three greatest achievements of Ty Gold | Alchemist, the founder of Messengers of Spirit. One for each side of the shape, the values are are hope, faith, love and the achievements forgiveness, magic and joy. As these elements make up what Ty calls her Soul Signature coding, they are vital and integral to the academy and it's energy too.

COLOURS

The colours we were guided towards perfectly represent the academy's mission and members.

As Gold is Ty's last name it works well as her primary colour but it was also used to represent transmutation and alchemy, as well as spiritual evolution.

Green is known to be the healer's colour and was used to represent healing, growth, nature, grounding and abundance.

Purple was chosen to represent intuition and magic. Purple is also one of the most psychic and spiritual of colours since it represents the crown chakra, which is also known as “the bridge to the cosmos" and acts as an individual's connection to higher guidance.

FONTS

The fonts I used are Carrington, Poppins & Open Sans

When designing a website it's important to consider that people need to be able to read the information easily and without straining their eyes. However a lot of fonts that have that readability factor can be overly masculine in their energy.

I chose Carrington as the font for special headlines and titles because it has a good mix of readability whilst also being more curvy and feminine with a handwritten look, that Ty prefers. For other titles I used Poppins and for body text, Open Sans. Between these fonts it created a good balance of easy on the eyes whilst including the all important feminine flare.

You'll see below that I've included some images of full web pages so you can get a feel for what some of pages look like in their totality. I've also included a closer look at some of the images so you can see more of the little details.

*This website was re-branded again in 2022 and is no longer live online*
