One word alone can convey an emotion strong enough to hurt or heal. It is said that one can free their soul or come to terms with pain by simply writing things down. Manifesting words with the meaning known only to the person invoking them in the hopes of liberating their spirit. To me there will always be something mystical about transmuting your emotion visually on a piece of paper.
I've taken it upon myself to continue practicing what I like to consider sort of traditional, with pen and ink and my limited knowledge, while letting my heart be my guide for a moment.
