This Is Winter
Book Project
For this project, I wanted to communicate the tones and themes of winter in a printed book. Each image was taken using a black and white film camera in the New Forest and then edited in Photoshop. I chose to fragment some of the images to reflect a sense of disconnection from the world that most of us experience during the winter months. Each of the symbols used are Pegan images that convey different aspects of winter, some literally and some not. This is all paired with text written by myself with the final book being presented in a concertina format with a plain black front and back cover.
