This is the process of my last digital illustration project.
I wanted to give my interpretation to the character Inej Ghafa, from the Shadow and Bone series, with reference to a photo of the actress who plays her, Amiga Suman. I wanted to make the character more like an RPG rogue, using elements of Indian culture.
I started painting in black and white to try to accentuate the volumes and then colored using masks.
