Force push - Qi Wireless Charger

Qi (pronounced "Chee") is an interface standard developed by the Wireless Power Consortium for inductive electrical power transfer over distances of up to 4 cm (1.6 inches).
The Qi system comprises a power transmission pad and a compatible receiver in a portable device. To use the system, the mobile device is placed on top of the power transmission pad, which charges it via electromagnetic induction.
 
The Wireless Power Consortium was established in 2008, and is an open-membership cooperation of Asian, European, and American companies in various manufacturing industries. Their aim is to create a global standard for inductive charging technology.

About Qi Standard

Qi works through a well-established process called magnetic induction. You may remember magnetic induction from high school physics. Magnetic induction has been used for more than a century to make power transformers. Qi chargers have a built-in transmitting coil that intelligently communicates with Qi devices using a specific electromagnetic frequency, so any Qi device will work with any Qi charger, now and in the future.

This project was about creating a Wireless Charger based on the Qi standard for mobile devices.
 
After analysing today's wireless chargers market, where potential competitors were faced and specific users were established as targets, we were able to generate a response.
Force push was the answer, which design features some advantages in the day-to-day use, and can easily compete with another options availables in the market.
