Durham Festival Poster
Mallarme Chamber players and The Durham Arts Council both worked together to find a look for the NC Hip Music Festival for 2014. I created a poster that had detailed event information for the viewer to read and also have enough space for a large silhouette of Durham and an even bigger, but subtle silhouette of a violin for the background. The colors I used were to represent the end of winter and the beginning of spring. Since North Carolina had such a long and cold winter this year, I thought that the use of a blue and yellow would give the viewer a more colorful and slightly warmer mood.
