Improving food ordering experience in Dunzo
I participated in a contest where we need to improve the food ordering experience of an existing app/ website. I chose Dunzo.
The following screens are the redesigns that I had designed for the contest,
When the user is new to a location, he/she would not know about the restaurants. So, if we provide food categories available at that location then they will be able choose the item and go with restaurants that provides chosen item.
In the original app, the items provided by a restaurants were categorized and listed in the form of tabs where the user need to scroll horizontally to reach the end of listed items. A restaurant had 32 categories and it will be hard to scroll to the end. I redesigned page with accordions which gives greater experience than tabs in this case.
