Summer activities on Wellesley - leaflet
One of my first commissions to do over the summer. I was asked to re-design a leaflet for summer activities organized by a church community in Aldershot, at the Wellesley neighbourhood. The main purpose of my design was to create a poster that would easily attract children's attention but also inform the parents of all the events in clear and approachable way, since the activities held by the community were suppose to be directed towards families with children.

The design concept of the leaflet was to have two versions of them - one informing about the times and types of event and the other providing prospect participants of how to book their place at those which interested them the most. The background of each of them presented half of the logo of Aldershot's Wellspring Church, demonstrating colourful wellspring with the cross shaped by negative space in the middle.
Instead of placing the Wellspring's logo from what it originally was, I have decided to draw it by hand on the back of the leaflet using Procreate, so the shape of each water drop would have a little bit messy and uneven edges, imitating child's drawings. After all, the events were aimed to be enjoyed mostly by the little ones, that is why I wanted to design something that would be the closest to their interest!
