Water pollution has been around for many decades. Water pollution occurs when bodies of water become contaminated with substances that don’t belong here. Rapidly developing countries like China and India have severe problems with water pollution and millions of people lacking of safe drinking water and suffering poor sanitation. Though Singapore is a well developed country, I believe everyone needs to know and be informed about the daily things they do daily that sometimes lead to water pollution that they do not notice. We have disconnected ourselves so much from the planet itself that we lost respect for; we just depended the planet on us hence most people do not feel like the pollution they we caused is really going to hurt anything.
