The musician Mário de Andrade, — the name behind the band Feeling Jazz — has always been in partnership with other musicians in various events. It was in 2013 when he decided to search for a branding identity for the name of his own band, looking to break into the music scene.
In the creation of the brand symbol, the concept was to create a monogram resembling musical notes, which was simply constructed by performing some minor type changes, making it more characteristic without losing its elegance and preserving parts of its original appearance.
As for the logo, I wanted to escape using the obvious and traditional serif fonts.
Following the proposal of jazz music that developed with a mixture of musical traditions, I sought to incorporate this within a monogram, preserving a classic and elegant type with a sharper geometric line, and the font Landmark Regular perfectly fitted this bill which best encompasses a blend of traditional features with modernism.

O músico Mário de Andrade, — o nome por trás da banda Feeling Jazz — vem criando um destaque sempre em parceria com outros músicos nos mais diversos eventos. Foi quando em 2013 ele resolveu buscar uma identidade para o nome de sua banda, procurando realmente se lançar no cenário musical.
