The Brief
Create a logo and stationery suite for The Raven Bar. The Raven Bar is a 21st century update of the shadowy, brooding hangouts from film noir classics like The Maltese Falcon and Dark Passage where secrets are shared. It will reflect the best of classic atmosphere with contemporary style.
The Approach
An effective logo should be easy to read at a glance, clear in its meaning and memorable so that it can be associated with the business without being too complicated or abstracted.
The quill, modelled on a raven feather, represents the importance of art and literature in the bar. The blue and gold represent the colour scheme of the interior and the quality of the drinks served. This design is intended for all printed material.
