Arc is a personal massage robot offering high quality massage services at home. The robot utilizes a 3-axis arm for pressuring user’s muscles and motion sensors for analyzing the massage program. It is designed to envision applications of robotics in future home consumer products.
The Arc massage robot system consists of a mobile massage station and a foldable massage table. The massage table can be folded into a compact shape and stored with the massage station in a corner of the house. When the user activate the massage robot, they will move to the location set by the user and the massage table will be unfolded automatically.
After the user choose a massage program, the scanner on the top will catch user’s body information to analyze the best massage movements. The robotic arm will bring two massage heads move and give user’s muscles comfortable pressures.
During the massage program, the massage station will coordinate its motorized wheels on the bottom and built-in gears in the massage heads to achieve smooth movements.
The Arc massage robot system will enhance user’s massage experience through save their time from booking therapists, provide higher privacy and more stable massage quality.
