Worked as a designer for the Alexander Wang footwear team from January 2016 until March 2018.
I worked on a total of 16 collections and runway shows; every collection containing an estimated number of 50 shoes per collection. I was in charge of generating new ideas and concepts for footwear designs for every collection (sketching, digital mockups, research, concept development, sourcing). Having a profound knowledge of materials and fabrics as well as footwear behavior was crucial for creating powerful collections. I also executed the graphic design of all footwear collections (presentations as well as internal communication).
I developed digital patterns for leather and textiles for both footwear and handbags departments. I digitally illustrated and rendered footwear designs (In charge of executing all CADS using Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. This involves doing approximately 80 digital developments weekly). I digitally engineered any type of hardware for the designs using Adobe illustrator program. Participated in the runway shows and contributed to the logistics of the footwear team from start to finish.
