Seso Global is a property marketplace, primarily based in West Africa. They act as a one-stop shop for digital real estate transactions. With the growth of the company, they felt that the look of their brand was quite dated, and didn’t meet the standards of today. We worked closely with the business owners and their marketing team to produce a brand and visual identity that felt new and still familiar.
The approach
Seso was burned by designers in the past, so they were keen to get the rebrand done properly. This meant taking the time to understand the needs of the company and their aspirations as leaders in their market. We did a lot of brainstorming, taking into account the target audience and the emphasis on technology. We maintained a close relationship with the team at Seso to get their feedback throughout the project.
The results
We decided to do a brand refresh rather than a complete redesign. This is because we intended to show an evolution, as the company wasn’t changing direction, rather they were increasing their momentum. The brand was refreshed with a bolder colour scheme and an updated typeface. Drawing inspiration from the shape of pyramids and tall commercial buildings that you would find in most modern cities, we updated the logo to be more responsive and modern. Finally, we provided Seso with a visual language that can be used in marketing and communications.
