Cortina Mountain Gin

Cortina Mountain Gin

Label design

The Client
In honor of "Cortina '56" - which was the first Olympic event in an Italian city - and in view of the XXV edition of the 2026 Winter Olympics, a limited edition celebratory gin was created, produced by cold infusion, to enhance the aromas of black myrtle and mountain pine.

The Objective
Graphic design of the Cortina Mountain Gin label, with an explicit reference to Cortina, the Queen of the Dolomites.

The Outcome
We opted for an elegant, slightly retro, sometimes nostalgic style.
The textured paper, the neck label of the bottle with the squirrel on skis, the colours that recall Cortina: everything contributes to the perception of the beauty of the Dolomites. The geographical coordinates of the town of Cortina were inserted between the naming lines and a stamp on the front represents the iconic Trampolino Italia.
For the labels of Cortina Mountain Gin was chosen a Martele Blanc Fasson uncoated, matte paper with an embossed finish. To simulate the presence of the stamp on the front, embossing was carried out, emphasizing the edge by means of UV coating. The 3D effect also enhances other parts of the label, including the naming on the front and back, adding an interesting contrast between glossy and matte surfaces.
