Birmingham Icons is another personal project in which I attempted to immortalise several of the city's well known landmarks in a graphic form. The completed designs range from fairly abstract, personal, interpretations to architecturally acurate depictions, each with varying levels of detailing. After completing a range of initial skecthes the final artworks were created entirely in Adobe Illustrator then exported to photoshop where the 'letterpress like' styling was added. The typography incorporated alongside the designs is set in entirely in Baskerville URW, a nod to it's Birmingham Born creator John Baskerville
