Food Robot Vacuum converts kitchen waste into the power of a robot vacuum cleaner,
which reduces household food waste and also reduces an electricity bill.

Issue
The disposal of large amounts of food waste has caused significant environmental pollution and financial costs globally. Among them, after most household kitchen wastes are recycled, they are not recycled but are burned in incinerators, causing air pollution, odor, water seepage, and heavy metal residues.

I started to think that if the respective families can handle the food waste by themselves, or even convert it into energy,
the goal of zero waste can be achieved.

At first, I was focused on the idea of turning the food waste into compost. However, I found that it is difficult to implement for urban families spending time growing and fertilizing plants. So I changed my goal and dug into the bioenergy power generation based on food waste.

"One metric ton of methane produced by the fermentation of food waste can generate 100 degrees of electricity."
Start with the robot vacuum cleaner, appliances that consume less power among home appliances. When household kitchen waste is converted into electricity, it is enough to support the machine's electricity. The accumulated food waste can last up to 3.5 hours in 3 days and can last up to 8 hours in 7 days. (The amount of food leftover per day is calculated based on 700 grams.)

How It Works
Biogas, especially methane, energy of organic waste captured through anaerobic digestion, can also be burned to produce electricity and heat. The user only needs to pour the food waste into the machine, the kitchen waste via anaerobic digestion will produce methane, which is used as the fuel cell's fuel source to provide electricity to the robot vacuum cleaner.

Panel Display
Display the stored power, control the sweeping robot, and display the amount of garbage in the dust box.

Automatic Dirt Disposal
When the sweeper returns to charge, it will automatically clean up itself.

Clean Up Once a Month
Food waste and dust are cleaned up once a month instead of frequently pouring food waste and cleaning dust box.
