FOXTROT DANCING ACADEMY
I had the opportunity to create a Logo as well as a few apparel items for a startup dance studio/academy here in South Africa.
BRIEF: I was asked to create a logo that captures the essence of what they do....DANCE! However the husband and wife duo still wanted a logo and brand that was clean and minimal.
SOLUTION: I decided to make use of two foxes dancing in the foxtrot style within a rounded window, which resembles the academies dance studio's massive windows. Once I had this visual in place I created some supporting icons that simplify the name of the academy to 3 simple letter F D A. I then simply took the FDA type and made an alternative logo as seen below. This gives the brand some flexibility to use each of the logos interchangeably depending on the desired execution.
