Poster and event identity for the electronic music collective 'Trips’. For the first time the collective is combining a night of music and dancing with an art exhibition and a podium for talks. The poster was realized in collaboration with Lithuanian 3D artist Lukas Gecevičius.
The central element, the sphere, gives a glimpse on the work that will be shown during the curated exhibition of the art of Lukas Gecevičius in the night of the event. The surrounding layout is purely created using typographic elements and presents all the relevant information to the viewer. Still, it can be perceived as an encrypted message, leaving the viewer curious to find out more. For digital applications the poster has been taken a step further and has been turned into a video with an animated texture moving the shape of the sphere.
