Custom Typeface, tuck
Typography
I have been in love with paper for as long as I can remember
and when I came across the book Complete Pleats by Paul Jackson,
I knew I wanted my Custom Typeface to be built from this material.
I quickly became a student of pleats, folds, mountains and valleys
to create different letter forms for my tuck typeface.
To make this project even more personal, the name of my typeface
comes from my high school nickname “Tuck”, a shortened version
of my maiden name Tuckey. Tuck is also a synonym for pleat or fold.
