For the craft cluster we went to Almora, Uttrakhand to the hand-weaving cluster. It’s an NGO based craft cluster that deals with hand weaving using lambs wool and pashmina prominently, they also practised hand knitting and spinning. Personally I was extremely fascinated with their swiftness and sumptuousness on weaving fabric. The women artisan of the foundation mainly weaves shawls, stoles and few fabric materials but they lacked stitched products though they are trying to work in that field.
