ASTRONOMICAL
Publication design for a magazine concept. ‘Astronomical’ would be a short publication run exploring the history of observatories within England.
The first edition explores the Lincoln Astronomical Society, where I visited a DIY observatory to gather photographic evidence and conduct an interview with one of its current members. The hope of the project would be to engage younger audiences into the fun to be had with space exploration.
My idea to have a special edition of the publication would include printing methods using ink infused with moon dust. Along with packaging made from the same materials used to ship space food.
