A series of patterns derived from a single motif which was inspired from the Peranakan culture in Southeast Asia. This culture is a fusion of both the Chinese and Malay coming together to bring about this colourful and rich history of theirs.
This project is a series to explore how this single motif can be used for food, textile and jewelry packaging etc.
