About Project
After a successful outcome with the previous branding and design project for The Dock Apartments, we were hired once again to create and design a logo as well as a brand concept for Six Docker Street a new apartment development. Currently, under construction, the apartment building Six Docker is due to be completed in late 2020 in the bayside suburb of Elwood, Victoria for property development company PRJX Properties.

The Brief
SIX Docker Street – a new high-end boutique apartment building in Elwood, Victoria for PRJX Properties. The target market is an older tenant/buyer 50+ YO, the retired professional or down-sizers, couples that have lived in nearby bayside suburbs. The previous project, The Dock, was aimed at a younger demographic. The fixtures and finish interior selections are high end and contemporary focusing predominately on quality and elegance. We were engaged in providing a sleek brand that compliment the architectural design and vision of the residential project.

Solution
The logo design is always a creative process; to do this, we started by studying the architectural drawings of the external facade and the interior colour scheme. We created a few different concepts that incorporated the lines to the panels featured on the exterior of the building and combining the muted copper accents of the interior; our design is a revitalised, modern and adaptive look for future print, billboard collaterals and digital mediums. We continue to currently work on stage 2 to develop various ideas on effectively communicating our client’s vision and outcome, this includes a website and marketing strategy.
