Sometimes I really feel like a porcupine; I get all cranky and prickly, and wish I had a nice covering of spines to make people leave me alone.

And then sometimes I feel like a magpie; curious, energetic, talking too much, attracted to shiny things, and determined to bother everyone and be in everyon'es business.

But mostly I feel like an owl; interested and yet confused, angry, and convinced I'm the only sensible bird to be found.
