The Wolf in Sheepās Clothing (Lobo con piel de cordero)

La obra āWelcome to the Farmā recoge el momento justo en el que las corderas comienzan a quedarse dormidas,el lobo que ha conseguido estar entre ellas disfrazado con el gorro de cordero aĆŗn en la mano ya se ve vencedor,atento y consciente de su situaciĆ³n nos mira desafiante haciĆ©ndonos cĆ³mplices del esperado desenlace una vez que todas estĆ©n dormidas,lo que no se espera es como serĆ” el final de esta historia...
En la parte baja del sofĆ” puede leerse āBut one night he found a sheep skin that had been cast aside and forgottenā (Pero una noche encontrĆ³ una piel de oveja que habĆa sido desechada y olvidada),tambiĆ©n el muro lo conforman graffitisĀ y textos āĪį¼“ĻĻĻĪæĻā (Esopo,en griego antiguo) que hacen referencia a esta fĆ”bula.

Tomando como referencia la fĆ”bula de Esopo āLa cierva tuertaā esta se encuentra a orillas del mar,tranquila pero temerosa vigila con su Ćŗnico ojo la zona de tierra donde previsiblemente puede haber mĆ”s peligro,descuidando asĆ su espalda y el mar donde estĆ”n sucediendo verdaderas escenas de terror,una gran explosion ha ocurrido en la ciudad y tres submarinos atĆ³micos vuelan hacia ella,bajo ellos un monstruo con traje de buzo sale sigiloso a darle caza,mientras tanto varios buitres esperan su ansiado trofeo.La playa envenenada por basura y toxicidad serĆ” testigo de este trĆ”gico suceso.En la fĆ”brica puede leerse Ace Chemicals como referencia al āJokerā y sĆmbolo de transformaciĆ³n y cambio,y como un mal presagio sobre la arena puede verse un viejo tablĆ³n de madera en el que puede leerse āGame Overā.

La fĆ”bula la liebre y la tortuga hace referencia a como la liebre tan segura de su triunfo se confĆa tomĆ”ndose su tiempo y mientras tanto la tortuga avanza despacio pero sin pausa llegando la primera a la meta,esta obra es reflejo de ese momento en el que la liebre se inscribe en la carrera,su exceso de confianza le hace tomarse una cerveza y flirtear con una chica junto a su hot rod,mientras en el margen superior se aprecia como la tortuga ya saliĆ³ y le lleva ventaja.En el muro a modo de graffiti puede leerse āThe Tortoise meanwhile kept going slowly but steadilyā (Mientras tanto, la tortuga seguĆa avanzando lenta pero constante).En la caseta de inscripciĆ³n puede leerse el aƱo de la carrera y el lugar ā2021,Portlandā y la camiseta de la liebre hace referencia a la exposiciĆ³n āAesop Showā

AĆŗn no ha caĆdo la noche pero la oscura y pestilente poluciĆ³n no deja pasar los Ćŗltimos rayos de sol.Elevada sobre la ciudad la Gansa de los huevos de oro se ha liberado del yugo del granjero,siendo conocedora de su poder luce orgullosa sus huevos de oro y sus tatuajes en los que puede leerse āThose who have plenty want more and so lose all they haveā (Aquellos que tiene mucho siempre quieren mas asi que lo pierden todo) haciendo referencia a su pasado,o āIn Aesop we trustā En Esopo creemos como referencia a la fabula.Tambien puede leerse en latin Fatum est Scriptum cuya traducciĆ³n significa el destino estĆ” escrito.Ante ella un bodegĆ³n que hace referencia a esa ciudad contemporĆ”nea en las que nos movemos actualmente,junto a los desperdicios de un menĆŗ de comida rĆ”pida hay una mĆ”scara de gas en la que puede leerse āNo Futureā como un presagio del futuro que se torna sobre nosotros.
