The brief of this university-project was, to redesign a CD-cover of an existing band or artist including a 3D-lettering that was made by hand. I decided to redesign the album "Appeal to reason" by the american punk-rock band "Rise Against" and tried to find a way to reflect the key statements of their songs in the lettering. I´ve chosen rusty wires and and other rusty elements to represent social captivity and the challenge to break out of decisions, controlling and suppression by government.
