Doctor of psychology and practicing therapist, and academic coach Jason M Walker has devoted nearly a decade of his professional career to supporting First Nations communities through British Columbia. He served in several important positions that allowed him to negotiate and facilitate the transfer of social services, programs, and funding for indigenous communities. After becoming the Clinical Director of the Inter-Tribal Health Authority, Jason supervised the clinical operations within the Nanaimo province, including nursing, mental health, and crisis intervention.
