Cardboard bySitter

The project of cardboard – outdoor chair relies on two main principles.
Firstly, low consumption of material. Secondly: enrichment with an additional function – a basket.
The result of my work is a “by-sitter”, cut out of a mesh of hexagon profiled on a 1m-diameter-circle.
The transformation of sheet of cardboard into a basket and a basket into a chair, bases on observation of umbrellas’
opening mechanism. A curiosity is the way the state of product is controlled with strings.
