Movie Poster Project
This is the redesign from a concept I did while attending Full Sail.
Concept: Simplicity is the Key, a simple and efficient composition is imperative if you want to communicate effectively. To accomplish this, I had to create a movie poster using minimal color and type.
Some guidelines to follow:
Choose a movie for your poster. It must be a real movie that you have seen. Choose any movie you want (with some exceptions, see No. 2 & 3.) Try to choose a movie that you know you can communicate in a unique and interesting way.
No fully animated movies. You’d just be redrawing someone else’s artwork, that’s not very challenging. The tough choices have already been made for you when you simply redraw something from an animation.
No superhero movies. If it’s licensed by Marvel or DC, please don’t use it. The reason for this is that the visual identity, color palette, etc.

Document size must be 8.5” x 11”.
