National Assessment Governing Board Video
The Hatcher Group is the lead communications consultant to the National Assessment Governing Board, the federal agency that oversees and releases the results from the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP). Also known as The Nation’s Report Card, NAEP is administered by the U.S. Department of Education. Hatcher supports the Governing Board’s strategic vision to make assessment scores more visible, better understood, and of greater utility to core audiences. We develop, promote, and execute virtual and in-person national release events for new Report Cards. We bring data to life by featuring speakers and students who can represent assessment content in exciting ways. Our work includes creating short videos, which highlight results and information gleaned from the assessments. These tell stories, elevate and explain NAEP content, and raise important issues in education, such growing performance gaps and stagnate reading scores. Hatcher is a trusted partner who not only develops material, but provides strategic counsel in challenging situations.
