For ages, artists have found their muses in women. Irrespective of the first point of attraction & inspiration that follows, there’s one thing that remains a constant in all the works produced from such relationships.

The physical beauty.

Women, as a subject of art, are always portrayed to be beautiful. They can be strong, brave, intelligent, caring or whatever the storyline holds for the character. But beauty; physical beauty to be precise, peeks as a characteristic common across all the depictions.

But, that’s not what women are all about. The beauty of a woman doesn’t lie in all the superficial things.
So, let’s bring focus to this unjust portrayal of women in art & popular culture with rare examples of art that celebrate women for the beauty that doesn’t fit the definition of ‘conventional’.

This women’s day, let’s Redefine Beauty.

Beauty, that doesn’t come from what’s on the surface but what lies underneath.
Beauty that doesn’t check boxes but stands unique in its own individuality.
Beauty that makes a woman what she is, in whatever she is.
