"Deep in a forest valley, in the shadow of tall mountains rests a quaint and charming village. Although rather small, the joyful village has always been full of happy people and smiling faces. Adults hurry about their work and families while the children, after chores are completed, play outside. The children excitedly run, jump and play tag through the forest and fields and swim in the cool lakes. The village is such a wonderful place for all to live. However, for the wealth of joy, there was a nearby looming darkness and parents would often warn, “Never go near that dreadful forest!”
Some of the older villagers whispered tales of horrible giants that roamed the cold mountains above the forest. Standing as tall at the trees, and always hungry, they watched the village below searching for lost travelers who stray too far from good intention."
