Neville Brody Tribute Posters

In part of aTypography course, we were asked to produce posters inspired by select designers; my choice was Neville Brody.

Neville Brody is considered one the most influential designers and Typographers in the 20th century. In part of his work, Brody was aware that people tend to skim through magazines and don't really pay attention to the words. He decided he was going to make them pay attention, at least to the visual created by the words; potentially exciting interest in their meaning as well.

Brody often worked using 3D forms, typographical elements and contrasting unique color choices. The tribute posters borrowed these elements: 3D forms of his iconic font suspended in bold colors and highlighted by bright expression lines.
