The Regional Operating Plan (ROP) video shows the Great Lakes Water Authority’s (GLWA) member partners how collaboration plays a vital role in the success of our region. The ROP is a central element of the Wastewater Master Plan and provides a chance for all member partner communities to work collaboratively with their neighbors to protect the environment and public health while reducing the need for costly investments in new infrastructure. The uses easy to understand terminology and imagery to discuss how southeast Michigan’s current wastewater system works and how it will be improved once once the ROP is implemented. The target audience was all member partners, elected officials in member partner communities, state legislators , watershed protection/advocacy groups in GLWA’s service area and the public.
